How to cancel GitHub

If you'd like to revert back to the free version of GitHub, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log into your GitHub account
  2. Select Settings in the top-right hand corner of the page under your profile picture
  3. Select Billing under the settings sidebar
  4. Select Subscriptions
  5. Under Edit, select the option Downgrade to Free
  6. Confirm your selection
