Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is an international mining company. The Company operates geographically diverse assets with significant proven and probable reserves of copper, gold and molybdenum. Its portfolio of assets includes the Grasberg minerals district in Indonesia, which is a copper and gold deposits, and significant mining operations in North America and South America, including the Morenci minerals district in Arizona and the Cerro Verde operation in Peru. Its segments include the Morenci, Cerro Verde and Grasberg (Indonesia mining) copper mines, the Rod & Refining operations and Atlantic Copper Smelting & Refining. In North America, it operates seven copper mines: Morenci, Bagdad, Safford (including Lone Star), Sierrita and Miami in Arizona, and Chino and Tyrone in New Mexico, and two molybdenum mines: Henderson and Climax in Colorado. In South America, it also operates the El Abra copper mine. The Morenci mine produces copper cathode, copper concentrate and molybdenum concentrate.

C3 Metals partners with Freeport-McMoRan on Bellas Gate project in Jamaica
C3 Metals Inc (TSX-V:CCCM, OTC:CARCF)announced it has struck an earn-in agreement with NYSE-listed copper giant Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE:FCX, ETR:FPMB) to advance the Bellas Gate Project in Jamaica. The agreement gives Freeport with the option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the project through a staged investment totaling US$75 million.

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - February 11, 2025) - C3 Metals Inc. (TSXV: CCCM) (OTCQB: CUAUF) ("C3 Metals" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that on February 10, 2025 it and certain subsidiary companies have entered into an Earn-In Agreement ("EIA") with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation ("Freeport"), a wholly-owned affiliate of Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX) relating to C3 Metals' 100%-owned Bellas Gate, Browns Hall and Arthurs Seat Special Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (the "Bellas Gate Project") in Jamaica. The Bellas Gate Project is immediately adjacent to the east of C3 Metals' and Geophysx Jamaica Limited's 50/50 joint venture Super Block project (Figure 1).
